Unfortunately this isn't a setup I actually use, I just threw together most of the usb bus powered devices I had to see what happened. I will test battery life of some combination at some stage, but I will probably wait a while as apparently the new iPad pros have some issue going on with quite a few audio apps that causes cpu usage that isn't normal, which I assume will affect results.

I'm returning the 3G iPad Pro. It's a lot of horsepower for the money, but I can't connect the LinnStrument and a pair of headphones at the same time. Third-party vendors will surely catch up sometime next year (e.g. Sanho's HyperDrive kickstarter is oversubscribed by 4X with 30 days to go) but in the meantime I'm downgrading to a 2G.
