Omnisphere hardware integration + MPE workaround?

I'm curious to know if anyone has tried some of the new hardware profiles in Omnisphere with the Linnstrument?
I've read the part on the "Recommended Sounds" page, where you clone the 1st part of a patch to make 8 different voices to sort of achieve MPE support in Omnisphere, and I wanted to know if this is also possible with the new hardware profile patches?
I'm asking because I'm considering buying a Prophet 12 module as my first hardware synth, and I thought that by using Omnisphere and my Linnstrument 128 with it, I could sort of get a Prophet 12 with MPE support.
(I also don't own Omnisphere yet, but considering buying that as well).
Anyway, would be grateful for any input on this! Cheers.

The "Hardware" patches are just like any other so you can clone them and it works fine.
