Uh oh... I usually operate my Linnstrument over a hub, runs fine. I was doing an update to the new FW rev 2.2.1, and forgot to connect directly using a USB cable < 10'. The FW update failed and now Linnstrument won't power on. Is there a global reset or such?

Solved. I may have had a driver issue, not sure. Resintalled the driver, re-ran the FW update, and operates correctly now.

Hi stagetone,

Sorry for the problem. The issue was likely due to updating over a hub and while using a long USB cable, both of which can supply LinnStrument with insufficient power. As you discovered, the solution was to do the update again while connected directly to your computer. In future, be sure to do updates only while connected directly to your computer via USB as instructed in the Updater app.

Thank you for owning a LinmStrument.

Thanks Roger. Definitely a lesson learned!
