timokc-- thank you. I've posted your 2 videos on the LinnStrument Videos page, Owner Videos 1 and 4 tabs.

I am just having tons of fun with the new Thorn Synthesizer (in the one synth challenge this November). Unfortunately it is not MPE, but I hope to encourage Dmirty to implement it. Nonetheless I had so much fun with my first patch I made from scratch, certainly leading to something different than any of the presets. I just adapted my playing style to slide only when all other keys are released. Anyway the sound I came up with is heavy and distorted and this is a short impro on that I called it "Thorn to be wild":

Thanks, TJ. It’s interesting to see how you’re using the 6-semitone row offset.

Dmitry already responded to my request for MPE compatibility. He wants to do it and tries to get hold of a Seaboard to test it. That is really good news, I love that synth...

My first proper linnstrument release here: https://therapyinterferingbehaviour.bandcamp.com

Three (give it time!) and five probably where it's use is most obvious, but it's lurking in the background throughout this playing the xpander, and doing exactly what I've been looking for for years, yay!

Happy Christmas linnstrumenters!

Twinkle Twinkle Jazz Reharmonization for Linnstrument!

Another good one, Aaron. Love those voicings. It's now live on the bottom of the LinnStrument Videos page, two-handed play tab:

Interestingly, I've tried to play your part for "Sick R&B chords" but I could never do it as good as you.

Thanks for the compliments, Roger!

I wasn't doing much with music or the Linnstrument for a few months, but I've been getting into it more than ever now. It's crazy how fast one can improve at this thing. I learned the Twinkle Twinkle reharmonization in about an hour.

I think my note lighting settings are working really well for me and helping me visualize things efficiently. I light the notes of the C major pentatonic scale instead of the full C major scale, and every note is a unique color. I started out with just one main and accent color and gradually introduced a new colored note every few days, and now I'd be lost without that scheme.

And the lights look very pretty in the video!

More practical for me than pretty though!

It's arbitrary of course, but I use C = gold, D = magenta, E = red, G = green, A = blue.

Nice clip Rouby44
do you need to load the lights layout every time you turn on the linnstrument? Could you explain me the steps? Thanks :)

Thanks!

I use this Max for Live patch created by a fellow Linnstrumentalist to set the lights to my preferred layout:

There's a new kid on the block:

Be gentle. I've only had the linnstrument a couple months. :)
