Hi everyone,
this question is aimed mainly to Roger. Is there any drawback about modifying or even remove the wooden side pieces? I was thinking to modify mine to being able to hold an ipad pro 12.9".
Thank you

No drawback-- they're purely cosmetic. And if you need replacements, I sell them on my online store.

@roger: Good to know. Thanks
@Peter: i know it pretty well i modify it to be printed in 2 pieces and holding an ipad pro on the 128 version. I prepared the file but then i noticed that i didn't have enough filament left. Also i want something detachable so i can still use the linnstrument bag, which i love.
So for now i was thinking of making just a couple of "holes" in the wooden piece:
and then insert 2-3 of these:
In case it would not work then i will go for the full replacement of the wooden part

Thank you
But my 3d printer doesn't want to start. I can't connect it, it gives me always an error "access to COM4 denied". But i always did it the same way. Do you guys know something about ports? I have no clue :/
