HI I would like a subforum request that focuses just on the Grid tips and tricks
My first question is how do I use the logic modules to create 2 alternating sequences into an oscillator. I tried many combos and cant seem to get it right.

In the meantime, consider joining the Bitwig discord. We have a dedicated channel there for Grid stuff. You can also check out my "GridSchool" playlist and there might be some clues there for you.

Thanks. It seems the logics work with gates so I need to go from there

Nothing "wrong" per se. But it's just like an old-school IRC chat room, so if you're not on-line 24/7 it's difficult to catch up with the topics of conversation. It's just not for everybody

You need to elaborate on your question. "Sequences" of what - gates? notes/pitches? cv shapes? Also what would be the trigger to switch between the sequences?
EDIT: probably the easiest would be to screenshot the patch you now have

HI I would like to have 2 different pitch sequences alternating towards a common oscilator. one sequence plays x times then switches the the next and back and forth. It would be even cooler if I could randomize the pitch notes every so many bars as well

Does it have to be in the Grid?
Because you can do it in the clip itself - in arranger or clip launcher, doesn't matter.
- you program both sequences in the same clip, but using different MIDI channels for each
- you switch between channels feeding the instrument with a Note FX Selector, with different Channel Filters inside of each Layer
- you add a Note Pitch Shifter, with Note-triggered Random modulator, that changes the pitch of incoming notes when the device is enabled
- you put a Diatonic Transposer in to force the notes into desired scale
Like so - notice how this is a 1-bar clip looping 8 times:

wow never thought of any of this. I guess I was thinking the Grid would do it all but this is interesting. Thanks
