Well, well! I might sell Push2 if this gets good reviews!

Definitely have my eye on this. For 349 and with tight bitwig integration this might hit the sweet spot for me.

I am absolutely saving up for this. Nektar controllers have been the best DAW/Plug-In agnostic controllers I have ever used.

Bitwig is my DAWs and UHe and Tracktion Synths are my Bae. I maybe buy one synth a year. REMEMBER SELF just one synth a year!

Mmmh. As far as controlling Bitwig this offers nothing more then Push. Less pads. One more layer of abstraction. Not interested.
If you don't own any advanced controller could be interesting, also pricewise.

I'd be interested only if the Bitwig integration can simply use Bitwig's native Drum Machine as the "container" for plugins/devices and FX. I don't want yet another bloated "DAW inside a DAW" like frikkin Maschine. I don't even use my Maschine MK3. It's sitting in a drawer. I use the Maschine VST for *some* things, but frankly I extract pretty much everything out of Maschine into flattened audio tracks in Bitwig ASAP, because Maschine's workflow and UI is so painful and slow.
Now, if you can use all of the Aura's features and simply plop your synths/instruments/samplers into the first 16 channels of a Bitwig Drum Machine and still take advantage of most Aura functionality, then that might be worth considering. Otherwise, my trusty Push2 will keep its place in front of my keyboard.

Funny you should mention. I sold Maschine for Bitwig, because I realized that Bitwig virtually offered the same. Plus, it runs on Linux. For me it was a no-brainer.
Push is really interesting though, because Ableton recently published it's api/spec. Which until Push 2 wasn't publicly known--though figured out to a large degree. Now, Push 2 runs within Bitwig, uses the newer Java api to drive the color screen and extensively uses the api in other ways.
My big question is why did Ableton decide to open it up?
Either way, it's badass and I love it.

I think this looks interesting. One beat controller to rule all the beat VSTs....

Easy. If you can't convince people to buy Live + Push, let them at least integrate Push with their DAW of choice and buy it.
Still, I'm not aware of any other DAW offering Push integration even close to 10% of what Moss' script is doing, so I'm not sure this worked out for them...

I mean this is basically Maschine. I already have Maschine and frankly if I was going to choose between the two I would still buy Maschine (if I didn't have it already).
What I found more interesting was the LaunchPad Pro MK3. Now that thing looks cool.

Well looking at some other videos what looks really interesting from this aura controller is that you can use the built in sequencer to build pretty complex beats, and then on the push of a button it will create a MIDI clip on your DAW, that sounds like a pretty dope workflow...

Have some doubts about the UI. Like the dedicated mute and solo, miss the screen above the knobs. The the visual and tactile navigation feel disconnected. Also the up/down left/right knobs and the placement of that 'browse' knob. Hmmm. I do applaud them for trying to do things a bit different than machine/push/MPC/launchpad. It does seem to need nektarine to get the most out of it. After having owned Machine 1 and MPC X, I prefer not to have any layer between my controller and my DAW. Don't see this replacing my Push2 + Bitwig.
