How does bank change work in Bitwig's MIDI Program Change device?

I usually just select one bank of presets and use the program change value in Bitwig's MIDI Program Change device. I leave the bank select buttons disabled. Now I have the need to switch Banks. How does this work? If I have multiple banks, it doesn't seem to work setting the MSB (most significant byte) to the bank number. It doesn't seem to switch banks like I would expect. I wish it were more straight forward like how its implemented in Live with the actual bank number and sub bank number instead of dealing in bytes/HEX stuff.

Can someone please explain how this works? In my case, I only have banks with 127 presets in each so I need to be able to switch to a specific bank, then select a preset from that bank...
