Is there a way to stretch clips in smaller increments than the scale 200 and scale 50 actions.

I would like to be able to stretch a clip to any length I choose in the arrangement mode. say I have a cymbal and I want that cymbal to last 4 bars, I should be able to stretch it to exactly 4 bars very easily, right? I'm talking more about audio right now but I the same goes for midi really. Other DAWs also have more accurate midi stretching capabilities with the addition of a control or alt key while stretching the clip, for example.

With audio you need to go inside a clip, activate stretch mode and just drag the right marker to any position you need. This will stretch the whole clip.
This also the answer to the people who say you cannot stretch the clip by just dragging it right corner. You can, but you need to drag audio event inside the clip, not the clip itself.

Another method if you better like to work with numerical values would be to select the clip and after setting it to the wished stretch mode (if not already set) change the BPM value...
This would need to resize the audio clip in the timeline or editor manually though

Yeah, it's a bit different than in "other" DAWs. Watch this (the whole thing, it's worth it):Stamped Records wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 1:04 am I would like to be able to stretch a clip to any length I choose in the arrangement mode. say I have a cymbal and I want that cymbal to last 4 bars, I should be able to stretch it to exactly 4 bars very easily, right? There's no stretching for MIDI clips, though.

Apparently 2.5 does it by itself already
