Hardware Instrument MIDI CC issues

Hi all,

Can anyone please confirm these in 2.4.3:

When sending a MIDI CC value to a HW Instrument of which the monitoring (and auto-monitoring) is off, there is a CC value (usually 0) generated and output; so for instance immediately cancelling a sustain pedal down message;

I've been checking earlier versions of BWS just now; seems that before 2.4, MIDI CC values weren't even recorded at all unless the monitoring of a HW Instrument track was on. I prefer not to have it on because MIDI monitoring in BWS has latency (as it does in Ableton btw).

I've now noticed that the same thing happens for me when simply recording MIDI data for a standard built-in Polysynth. Start recording, press and hold a note, press the sustain pedal, release the note: it should continue but it doesnt.
