I cannot believe this....after waiting over a week to get a licence transferred (bought from bitwigger on this forum...who was absolutely brilliant) i finally got an email today saying that the licence had been transferred. I then went to login, but it said my username or password were in correct.
It turns out they deleted my entire account.
So now the licence is not in the old account and my account was deleted.
I have absolutely no idea what to do. It now looks like i have another day of not being able to get any work done. Its really quite unbelievable that it is so much effort to get a licence transferred. I have never experienced anything like this.
Does anyone have any idea what might have happened?
Im lost for words.

Have done multiple times, through website and replied to the email they sent me earlier.
No doubt they wont get back to me until tomorrow, then it will take days until it is transferred again. Trying my best not to get angry about this but im absolutely fuming. Never experienced anything like this from another dev.

So they moved the license to your account and then deleted that same account? That doesn't sound right.

Well, mistakes happen.
But you wanted to save some money - you saved them. In some cases it means small amount of head-ache (in that case both for you and support).

yes you are all right. I should be calm about it. I might actually delete this post as i dont want to be unfair in any way.
I really love the software, best i have found yet. It just seems a little archaic when it comes to the licence transfer.
I just cant wait to get working in it!!

Ok i found out that apparently this happened due to a support ticket i had running from a while back regarding my account. I suggested that maybe it would do to just use the account of the licence i bought. I see where the confusion comes from now.
However they just re transferred the licence and still not working. i have hope now tho.

Please take into account that Bitwig is a +/- 10 people team and only 4 of them are coders, so I'd rather those guys took care of the DAW itself rather than working on some fancy automated license transfer system, like some other companies have :)

On top of that, Bitwig is present on ADE in Amsterdam and AES in New York both happening right now, so that also impacts the number of staff available to work on your support ticket(s) :(

clips can be saved/loaded back if you drop them to/from the browser, so u can play/save/load them till the license is begin working

or the Phase-4 series on https://www.macprovideo.com/library/app ... ec0s0lkcNz that's a good one
