So I've been keeping an eye on this for a while and it just released in early access....
https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... byome.html
The quality of the algorithms in this thing is absolutely unreal, and there are some interesting approaches to modulators that Bitwig hasn't covered yet (especially the analyzer algorithms - spectral follower etc.)
I'm fantasizing about a Bitwig/UA collaboration because it feels like such a good fit. The modular nature of Unfiltered Audio's approach to things (Michael Hetrick is a huge contributor to the Reaktor ecosystem) and their focus on modulation is very similar to Bitwig. Having access to their incredible effects algos directly in Bitwig would be heaven.
It's made me think a little bit about the modular system finally being opened up and whether or not the underlying Bitwig DSP would be able to produce such high quality effects. I get the feeling that Bitwig have naturally leaned towards low CPU use for their native effects so far (which totally makes sense), but I feel like it's time to blow the roof off and give us some really really cutting edge processors like UA have done with this plugin. Obviously it's not just cpu-efficiency but also the fact that the Bitwig team have to develop an entire DAW and can't focus on specific DSP algorithms in the way that the UA guys have done for the last few years, so yeah, collaboration please

Yeah, just saw this in my e-mail. Looks awesome, like all their stuff really!
Wonder what the price will be?

Sometimes it's better to wait for PA sales and vouchers for their products. Unless you must have it when released.
Also the interface is very much like my Circle synth - which I never use. This is just an observation.

Well, for me the biggest deal breaker is lack of any splitters to feed different parts of audio (frequency bands, quiet/loud, left/right, mid/side) into parallel FX chains in single plugin instance to modulate them from single source.
Price will probably be the other one. Seeing how this covers a lot of ground of their other plugins, I don't think it will be less that $99, which is enough for me to not get it

It´s 69 bucks at the moment.
I tested it some weeks ago, but couldn´t use the envelopes as I wanted.
Had the feeling, Bitwigs stock FX were better and easier to use.
Perhaps I will buy it anyway just for the price...

Bitwig FX Racks with modulators and granular sampler etc are probably about the closest thing in existence to BYOME. I use both, I suspect you can probably achieve more with BW and the basic sound quality is to my ears about the same, maybe better native delays in BYOME and some instant gratification with presets....but if you own BW, you realy have this type of modular and modulated fx thing covered. Of course you can use BYOME in other DAWS, so thats a big plus for some of us!

Yes, SLIC,
that´s pretty similar to what I´m thinking about BYOME.
And the YT vids are not THAT promising.
Will wait for a Sandman Pro sale instead

Hi!
The wiring seem to be broken, on both vst2 and vst3 plugs. OpenGL is turned off, because with OpenGL enabled, Byome interfase is totaly broken. In reaper everything works fine.
win 10, BITWIG 2.5
