I could live with that I realy like Studio One which I also use when I am working mainly with guitars and vocals, but if they did above and did it well.....

Cool. I came over to Bitwig from Sonar. My understanding is that Sonar and Studio One are (were) similar. I really liked some of the features in Sonar, all of the above, and others... the one I'm thinking of is their step sequencer. I know Bitwig will get there, just not sure on which rev.

1) some more flexible track, clip, group,... freeze function
2) better filters, eqs everywhere
3) gui themes and downsizing components in addition to resize function
4) more optimizations in speed and quality of devices, graphics
5) implementing some opensource ideas from airwindows console and purest serie

Mixer presets or snapshots, that would save the mixer settings + effects chains and can be recalled via midi.

Most of what I most wanted was added... time signature changes, a full MPE implementation with midi channels and a couple other things.
Now what I would most like would be:
tempo mapping like Logic
Groove tools like Live

I have many, but the ones that would have the most positive impact:

2. Multiple MIDI lanes for each instrument channel.Randall P. McMurphy wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 4:22 am 1. Save default presets for modulators. Shouldn't have to change the LFO to "square wave, 1/2 sync, 50% phase, unipolar" each time I drop it in a track, all that clicking starts to add up over time.
3.

one day I was walking on the street and someone saw me, he said "hey man" and I don't remember why I'm telling you this.

I would actually prefer the "Apple Logic way".
No multiple step undo, but only a compare button, that switches between last manipulated VST state and the state, when the plugin has been opened.
Additionally it would be nice to have a shortcut(s) to switch to FX tracks.

1) advanced midi editing like in FL Studios piano roll
2) open the modular env / plugin dev system Yes, that introduces a lot of trouble, but if Bitwig Studio has a pile of bws only synths and fx that will pay off. It doesn't have to be within bitwig, maybe as a second app (similar to reaktor)
3) better vocal recording & editing features like pitch correction and comping
The goal is to remove the need of other programs and DAW's. This way ReWire (which is not available on Linux) is not needed.

1. brighter color scheme
2. brighter color scheme
3. brighter color scheme
It's the main reason for me to work more often with Ableton Live than Bitwig.

Yeah, colors/contrast of current scheme is killing me after 2.2/2.3 updates.
On laptop you need 100% brightness to see grid and keep eyes from tiring. Which makes it hard to use Bitwig when you have low-battery.
