What? You thought I was done? That's adorable! 8)

Part 2 of my workflow for making tasty bass drops. This one takes you a step further. And hey! I also use Bitwig's Drum Machine device for this variation on the basic idea I demonstrated in the last video.

The question always comes up. Or people who don't understand Bitwig very well yet will complain that "Bitwig sucks because it can't do comping". Except.... Bitwig *can* do comping. Both comp-style recording and comp-style editing. So I finally recorded a video demonstrating how to do this. Bookmark this video and the next time someone asks "can Bitwig do comping?" (or mistakenly asserts that Bitwig cannot do comping), show them this video. :D :tu: :phones:

So this one is more about mastering for competitive loudness, but I DO also touch on features in Bitwig that speed up mastering, and that make the process of "mixing into the mastering chain" quite a bit easier/faster than in other DAWs like Ableton. Even very early in a project, when most producers wouldn't even dream of adding resource-hungry mixbus/mastering plugins to their project. Bitwig makes that "problem" a total non-issue with it's amazing resource-management features.

Not sure why the device panel sharing thread wasn't linked here already, but it should be referenced for easily finding it:
