Hey everyone, a new bank is out for u-he HIVE, it's called organism.

Here's what I wrote about it:

With the 1.2 update, HIVE gets a huge expansion with wavetables. The inclusion of such a classic digital technology enables HIVE to reach back into time and connect us to the awesome wavetable sounds of the 80’s and 90s. With it’s filters, modulation and unison it enables us bring those sounds into a modern context.

Organism gives you 101 new presets, with a heavy emphasis on the ambient and luscious sound of unison wavetables. In fact the pads alone make up 40% of the soundbank.

All sounds have been carefully tweaked to sound good in a full mix context, and there’s careful FX and modwheel assignments throughout. Take a listen to the demo and hear for yourself!

Indeed wavetable really does give Hive a new push in a different direction.

Another great collection of sounds. I especially love the 80's feel between 0.48 - 1.04. Pure nostalgia

Hi Aiyn, just bought the Organism soundset and I like the sounds in there. Very lush and catchy. Just wondering how you did the lead at 3.08. The movie says LD Squiggle but in the soundset, it sounds dry and different, there must be an FX on it. How did you do it? That particular sound has been haunting me (in a good way) since you released the set.

Do you mean the higher pitched mono lead?

No, it is the main melody played by this key/plucked string type instrument starting at 3.08.

Oh ok, not all sounds are listed in the video, that one is PL Paradise, just with more reverb
