Discovery Crime and Discovery Crime Deluxe are the first releases in the Discovery Series for Omnisphere 2.5 and Keyscape (the Deluxe version).
Discovery Crime contains 100 presets, 25 multis and 115 soundsources and requires Omnisphere 2.5
Discovery Crime Deluxe contains 125 presets, 35 multis and 124 soundsources and requires Omnisphere 2.5 + Keyscape!

The sounds in the soundset are filled with suspense and tension, often with (subtle) pulses that can be added/removed via controllers. The inspiration comes from shows like The Bridge, Person of Interest, The Killing, The Americans, Bodyguard, Blacklist and many more.
In the presets there is an extensive use of the modwheel, aftertouch, pitchweel and CC2 to enhance the sounds. Often sounds start as a fairly basic sound, but with the use of various controllers you can add a lot of depth to your sound so that it can match your productions.

The full serie is available at the intro price of €62.50 for the regular version and €75.00 for the Deluxe version.
The soundsets can also be bought seperately:
Discovery Crime - €14.95 intro price (€17.95 full price)
Discovery Crime Deluxe - €19.95 intro price (€22.95 full price)

The introduction sale lasts till the end of February.

In the Discovery series for Omnisphere presets often start out relatively simple, but most of the presets make use of modwheel, aftertouch, pitchweel (assigned to various controllers) and CC2 control to enhance the sound and to add a lot of depth to it.
This small showcase shows what can be done with one single preset. Everything is played in real-time making use of the modwheel, aftertouch, pitchweel and CC2.

For the upcoming first release in the Discovery serie "Discovery Crime" I have released a new freebie with 7 free presets. For each release I will create a freebie with around 5 - 7 presets

A new trailer video. All sounds beside the big percussion and strings are from the soundsets. I have used sounds from the Crime, Horror and Trailer sets.

And here the full main audio demo. Also in the intro part sounds from the Documentary and Blockbuster sets have been used.
For full disclosure - this track is mixed and processed like I would do normally with a track I am working on. Meaning effects like reverb, compression, eq etc have been used. This to showcase also one track in a full production setup.

The soundset received a 5 out of 5 star rating from Sample Sound Review!

"As I played though each category in 'Crime' I could definitely hear how these sounds could be used to score any of these shows. Discovery: Crime is designed with a lot of movement. I found that there are many presets with so much complexity that I could actually underscore a whole scene with just one preset. I noticed Triple Spiral Audio took full advantage of the Omnisphere 2.5 update by creating sounds I had yet to hear in Omnisphere. The comprehensive use of effects assigned to the modwheel is impressive. I love the way many of the presets add a slow building rhythmic pulse when moving the modwheel, thus creating that tension and suspense buildup.

In my opinion, this library is an indispensable scoring tool that you should add to your Omnisphere soundbank collection. It's criminal I can't giveDiscovery: Crime more than 5 Stars but rest assured the Discovery series by Triple Spiral Audio will certainly make Omnisphere library history in 2019."

Edit:

Adding a video here showing on of the presets while being controlled via Touché SE

There are 2 more days left on the intro sale.

Received a very nice user review the talented musician and producer Torley Wong

"WOW JAAP

Need to say how much I'm enjoying Crime Deluxe so far — one of my faves from you!

The patch naming system you use is really helpful, and the EXTENSIVE modulations help. I use ALL these controllers regularly, and it adds a lot of value to have ready-to-go modulations for these patches. I am finding myself smiling when I discover you've used pitchbend for something _other_ than pitchbend, and think this concept of "start basic, then transform" is working really well in practice! The basses undergo some wonderful morphing which makes it easier to sync/swell to key moments."
