Splice.com for VST Presets & Sample Packs

Anybody use Splice.com for their Preset and Sample needs? It seems like a pretty cool idea. I'm just not clear on how it works.

• Can you download unlimited presets/samples?

• Are there many presets available? Looks like it's manly samples

• How do the credits work? I read somewhere about credits but I couldn't find any information on the webpage about credits at all.

• How are the vocal acapellas?

No.

Definitely more samples than presets. To me it seems more complicated to really search for samples. Or I don't fully understand Splice's search function.

• How do the credits work?

You pay monthly and get your credits. You need the credits to download samples or presets. It's one credit per sample or five credits per preset. For $7,99 you get 100 credits each month . The first month is free I believe (at least it was, when I started). You don't need to use all your credits in one month, they sum up. BUT: You'll lose your credits once you stop paying so you'd have to use them all up before you quit your payment.

Thanks! Sounds like a good idea but the implementation is flawed.
