They're available for purchase for £10. This buys you all formats and lifetime free updates.

There are almost 3000 wavetables in the library now.

The purchase link can be found here:

https://charlesdickens.neocities.org/

There are free wavetables for each format except for IL Harmor. I'll rectify that asap!

Cheers,

Mark
Bought. What do I have to do now?

I'm just in the process of uploading two new sets of wavetables (198 in total) to the user areas for those that have purchased the £10 lifetime wavetables package.

These new wavetables include 8 x 2 operator phase modulation where each operator has it's own envelope to create a morphed wavetable plus a separate set using 'random filters'. Random filters is where I've taken a set of mixed analogue oscillators and filtered them with two filters in series recursively. The filters are a randomised impulse response followed by a generic low pass filter.

I've just uploaded 99 wavetables that simulate the vector synthesis of a famous synth, but using my own wave cycles rather than from the actual synth.

Here is a demo using a single wavetable:

https://soundcloud.com/markholt/mh-vectorbibs

The wavetable contains 8 cycles that are set in to 2 sets of four using different voices to simulate two oscillators using Synapse Audio DUNE2. Four MSEGs are used to morph through each set of four wave cycles.

Edit: The relevant user folder is called MH Random Cycles.

The VS wavetables are great fun!

Anyway, I was wondering what people out there would be interested in terms of new wavetables.

I've uploaded a lot of FM, iPD, basic physical modeling and analogue stuff, drum hits plus mixtures of each and more. What would you like to see?

Wavetables to make choir sounds with Mark!! That would be 8)

Did you have chance to check out the 'speech' tables? They are good for choir type sounds. However, VOSIM/FOF/PAF tables are on my list. I'll try to find some time to do some this weekend.

Awesomeness! ! :tu:

Just uploaded ~160 new wavetables for each format for users who have bought the lifetime upgrades pack. These include some new Casio VZ style wavetables as well as some True FM, PM and simultaneous FM+PM using modulators that have been Hilbert filtered.

I'll now set to work on generating some formant wavetables.

Also, a word of note, those who want to use these in UVI Falcon need to add an underscore before the 2048 in the file name. Sorry about that. I'll rectify that with future wavetables!

It has been a nice long summer here in the UK, but it hasn't stopped me making more wavetables, however, the nice weather, holidays and work have stopped me from converting to the various formats until now!

They are now converted and being uploaded to the various OneDrive folders for each registered user. There are over 1800 wavetables in various formats, just in this one update!

The theme this time is mostly time domain filtering using real and imagined impulse responses applied to analogue or FM waveforms. There are also some bit reduction tables, comb filtering and country outlines! The majority morph very smoothly, some intentionally don't. Please feel free to ask about any of these.

I'm also working on finishing off an utility to convert the wave formats to DUNE2. I have stopped this format as the D2 format files are just too large and the files that I am currently producing are compatibile with DUNE3 when that is released. The files have also been tested, and are compatible, with U-He's Hive and Xfer Serum. All new files added have also been converted for Blofeld and IL Harmor (again tested with both) and Vember Audio Surge, although I have limited capability to test these at present.

As a reminder, you can buy all these and future updates, as well as past issues, for the tiny one off sum of £10 from:

Edit: There are also some formant wavetables using VOSIM and FM waveforms!

I just thought I'd expand a bit on the 'countries' wavetables. They are basically the xy-coordinates of the border perimeter for most countries in the world. In the case where that country is a series of islands then it's mostly the border of the largest of those. The first wavetable slot contains the x-coordinates, whilst the last slot contains the y-coordinates. If you load the same wavetable in to two oscillators/voices and pan each hard left/right with phase reset on and visualize with a goniometer then you will see the outline of that particular country, e.g.:

Gimmicky, but neat :hihi:

I've just come across a thread where Richard from Synapse Audio has posted an utility for convert wavetables based on 2048 sample cycles in to DUNE2 wavetables.

Here is the thread:

viewtopic.php?p=6953070#p6953070

It's Windows only but will work with the 2048 sample per cycle wavetables that I've released.
