Good thanks
The third one is nearly done
Some notes on 'playing' these patches
1. They are more meant to be played with than just played, the West coast philosophy sees there being a symbiotic relationship between the synth and musician, they both contribute to the music and need to learn how to interact collaboratively. Playfulness is compulsory.
2. So although many patches are generative that doesn't mean your role is passive, many are designed to respond to note input but note input does not merely lead to notes It also can change how the synth responds, some patches behave very differently depending on pitch or scale for example. So play around with this.
3. All patches are setup to respond to and be played using dynamic modulation changes, including not just mod wheel, velocity and aftertouch, but also the knobs etc. So play around with everything.
4. Some patches also do nothing until you enter a note or two, often these are very dependent on pitch and vel too, once played they run along on their own alongside and interacting with what you play. So if a patch sounds silent try entering notes at different keys. Symphony of Snarks in C1 is a good example, sounds very different played high. The Unmerry-go-round patches are another.

Here's the third one in my Aalto trilogy - Aaltovista. As the name implies this covers a wider selection of sound types than my first 2 Aalto banks. Still has some of the evolving self generative sounds but also some basses, pads, bowed and plucked strings. All converted to NKS, ZIP includes both nksf and Aalto native patches.
All these are still free, there is a donation link (pay what you like) on my website though if anyone wants to

Just found your site. It's a huge amount of work, thank you!
FYI the link to Drone Machines is not working (and several others with the dropbox links).

I have 2 more Aalto banks of this kind that I will eventually convert.

Which Dropboxed ones still don't work? I had to change a bunch as Dropbox removed public folders a while back and screwed everything up

Wow, it was quick! thank you! Really looking forward to checking them out!
To be honest I don't think any of your dropbox links worked for me. So probably all are down on this page: http://fingermarks.co.uk/music2.htm

It was just a misnamed file - the dropbox stuff will take longer as I need to migrate them to my ftp

I fixed the Tyrell no 6 bank Dropbox link and included the new version with NKS patches - some more to fix but I need to find the originals first - the Uhbik ones are either in the factory bank now anyway, u-he user lib now, and most of the rest are just for obscure stuff not often used (except maybe Poseidon).

An interesting soundset for an interesting synth from an interesting guy.
And at this price, its a no brainer.
