Any news on when version III will be released for Ample Guitar G, Ample Guitar TC and Ample Guitar F? I have version II for these at the moment.

I already have Ample Guitar SJ III, Ample Guitar Twelve III, Ample Guitar T III and Ample Guitar M III and love the new interface. I hope the electric guitar updates are coming soon... :)

Thanks- Dave

Any new updates? Some KVR insider info... :)

BTW, the Jaco Fretless bass is great... so is the Acoustic Upright which I bundled together when I bought them. Great deal! :D

Bumping this thread!

I own AME and there's a few things I'd love to see in version 3 (but given how far along it might end up being, would completely understand them being absent):

- Tapping samples
- Tremolo bar; this one in particular can be modelled as sampling everything is impossible unless we want a 100+GB library
- "Beam" slides; these were used a lot in late 90s / early 2000s power metal
- Big ask, but a couple more mute layers would be nice

I'll be happy when it releases regardless, since I've been waiting pretty eagerly for this update. :)

Thanks for your suggetsions.

1. We have recorded Tapping samples.

2. Sorry it is impossible, the real Eclipse guitar doesn't have a tremolo bar ... please check the guitar here:

3. "Beam" slides ? do you mean "Pick Scrape"?

4. There are 5 kind of mute samples in current library ... we recorded natual harmonic etc samples.

Beam slides are more or less more advanced pick scraping, they're used quite a bit on songs from DragonFoce's 2003 album Sonic Firestorm and 2006 album Inhuman Rampage, most famously in the solo sections of Soldiers of the Wasteland (around 7:03 and 8:10) and Through the Fire and Flames. They sound like a slide merged with a really fast scrape.

Tapping samples are great! Good to know those are coming too.

Ah yeah, I forgot that this library uses a completely unmodified Eclipse, as I've seen more modern Eclipses with Floyds on them used by YouTube guitarists (for example, Cole Rolland uses one). No big issue then. As for the mute layers, in version 2 there's specifically two main palm mute layers (other than maybe dead mutes). I've seen as many as six from ISW libraries, but that's a lot of recording so that's why I'd understand not doing that.

Sounds great ... and if its still in progress, maybe i can suggest st, the reggae-strumming (incl. the patterns) could be improved:
1. dont mix picked guitars with the off-beat (these are 2 different guitar sounds/functions)
2. the reggae-offbeat is an OPEN DOWNSTROKE over 6 strings, which is muted immediately after the attack - with the version 2.55 i still need an envelope shaper to get this sound ...

greetins ...
