Terrible CPU spikes in latest Logic version…

…, with full ver III Martin, the free one, and w/ver II Strat. Even with the Riffer running a very simple 2-3-string blues shuffle, everything rolls along nice and low, then suddenly spikes to the max with crackling and cutting out, even though I've touched or changed nothing.

Any ideas? TIA!

EDIT: Work-around is to put it inside BlueCat Patchwork as a VST on a Logic Instrument track. Hope either Apple or Ample get this sorted for those who don't have a VST shell, but so far I'm good to go, back in bidnes:)

After a few more hours of working with this set up, it's still definitely better than the AU version, but also much more likely to overload my CPU than any other plugin or samples library I commonly use, which includes Kontakt, all Spectrasonics, Falcon, etc., all of which I can happily use without much concern over whatever other apps I keep running when working in Logic. For my Ample guitar to work as well within Patchwork, I need to shut pretty much everything else down.
