Hi, when using freakoscope to analyse a saw wave played from serum or hive, freakoskope says that the root note/lowest harmonic is midi note C4 when the note being played by a midi clip in ableton live is at C3. Why is this?

I figured it out, freakoscope, a frequencer analyser VST, gives name of the notes according to scientific pitch notation where middle C is C4 wheras the midi note for middle C is C3.
