Circumstance:
Plugin loads and works, crashes as soon as I try to load a colour map.
The window to choose a colour map opens but as soon as i select a file and hit open ableton crashes.

Same here - no nice paisley, beta 5 hangs Reaper newest 64 and Cubase AI 7. (AMD A6-4400, OpenAL 4.4). cpp.44 errors plus different breakpoints. Will mail you the logs, as they are rather long.

I'll be implementing another crash logging system for next build as well. This round of testing at least helps to determine the areas people are crashing so we can focus our efforts.

The crash having to do with colormap/heatmap is due to something in OpenGL not initializing correctly. Use PrettyScope Build 4 as a workaround. If you need me to resend you build 4, send me an e-mail. The only difference between build 4 and 5 is the crash logging stuff. Crossing my fingers that I can send Build 6 before the beta is over, it will include preliminary support for 1D mode and better crash logging.

Not saying you should buy this, but... maybe? Do some research, check out reviews. I might want a cheap videocard actually. I wonder if this is better than my Geforce 8600GTS of 10 years.

Edit: Actually maybe my Geforce 8600gts is better, and can be found on Ebay for super cheap. I'd look for a slightly more modern GPU though, this one has been giving me trouble with PrettyScope with black line glitches. No one else seems to have this problem.

Edit: For $50 you can get geforce gtx 950 on ebay which destroys my 8600 GTS.
