It’s a bit rambly, but it’s a pretty good intro to Bitwig’s take on patching. The workflow optimizations are well thought out imo.

The workflow has improved quite a bit even from when that video was made. Bitwig's Grid is far and away my favorite workflow of the various software modular systems I have tried.

I have always had something of a love/hate relationship with software modular. On one hand the possibilities are enticing and on the other hand they always feel tedious to use. The Grid does not feel tedious and it is the first software modular I have tried that feels like a regular synth in terms of ease of use and workflow.
