Happy new year all....can't believe it's been 10 years! (for me)

wasn't sure exactly where to post this...but this sub seemed the best.

I just recently picked up an older ensemble I was working on in reaktor (with help from others)..im basically trying to rebuild the architecture of my Akai AX80 and one of the two big aspects are the filter and the oscillator sync types.

There is a Sync 1 and Sync 2 between oscillators. Sync 1 is unmistakably a hard sync. But Sync 2 is some sort of soft sync but going by the definitions of the variations of soft sync...im not really able to discern the method by which the slave osc is resetting. Could anybody glean some info on ...

1 - how to gauge if a cycle reset is disabled after an amplitude or frequency threshold? And if it's frequency based..how to determine the frequency threshold?

and

2 - any info on how either scenario is done in Reaktor?
