Congrats on getting to ver 1.0! Any plans for a 64-bit version? It's no biggie, I've got a 32-bit daw I can use, just asking :)

Post

Yes I will get round to it in a while.
I just want a stable release of Doppler before I update my O/S and compiler to the latest versions.

Hello Kirsty,
great, thanks for this synth. Tested it so far, works stable in FLS20.
Are there more far-reaching infos about the modules? Some modules i have no idea what to do with them.
Can you (or someone) recommend a website or documentation about modules and combinations?
I think the Doepfer A100 documentation is a good point??

Really cool Kristy, thank you. :)

(you are considering doing some modules for Voltage Modular and/or VCV rack, right?)

No.
Although they are great products...

I think that the Voltage Modular business model is far too restrictive.
Too see how limiting it is just read the Common Questions at:-
https://cherryaudio.com/voltage-module-designer/faq

...and VCV rack is still developing.
Why put in the work to make a module if it could be broken on the next release of the host.
Besides there are already many great modules for VCV so I doubt that I could contribute anything new.

I think it would be great if some (or all) of the software modular developers got together
and agreed on a standard format with a common SDK so that different modular software
programs could load and run a common DLL.

Anyway, I've got something interesting lined up

That would be near impossible and prevent innovation for features that break ABI or API.

Interesting, a lot of choice around these days! I'll wait for the 64-bit version too.
