Hi, I have a project that switches voltages from 0 to 10 and back again at random intervals. However, the output is smoothed so it glides between the two values rather than changing instantaneously. How can I add to this so that the value only changes from 0 to 10 (or 10 to 0) when the output is 0 or 10? This way, the 'glide' is complete before the value changes again. Something like this:

If x = 0 or x = 10
then change value
else ignore

Thanks!

a combination of modifier/comparator and/or modifier/quantizer
should be the right way, but logic/and, or etc should too

Thanks, although I'm a bit lost. I've uploaded a pic here:

If the value of A is not 0 or 10 (ie, somewhere in between), I want the 'drift' input to not accept any changes until the pitch at output has reached its destination.

I looked at the comparator module, but I didn't really understand it.

Does this make any sense now my pic hopefully makes it clearer?

Thanks again!

You could also maybe use a FLOOR or CEIL module to keep the output value at either 0 or 10.
