Strange pitchbend issue with any KH solo string

Hello,

I am thinking this issue described below is unique to me but I was wondering whether anyone else might have experienced it, and also looking for suggestions from others more familiar with Kontakt.

I use an acorn master keyboard connected via USB into a late 2013 iMac running Sierra 10.12.2
I use the latest version of Kontakt either in standalone mode or in Logic Pro
The effect happens on any KH solo string from The Concert Strings 2 series or the Pop & Rock Series

All runs beautifully until I use the pitch bend. As soon as I use it, anytime I want play a note below the current one, I have to play the key twice before it triggers. The first time I play it I get no sound. This only happens on notes below the current one, notes above trigger just fine.

The only way I can fix it is to close Kontakt. Solo strings then work fine until I use the pitch bend again.

Using the pitch bend directly from Kontakt does not have the same effect. None of the other controllers on the master keyboard have the same effect. The effect does not occur with whole divisions. I have never had this issue with any other Kontakt library.

So, if anyone can offer any insight I would be very grateful.
