I'm new to Analog Lab, this is a really silly question but when I save a preset, I can't seem to load it back in..

I can't see my user bank, only factory bank

so strange. Did you double-check that the preset got saved to the user folder under arturia/presets/analog lab4/user/user?

but it should do it automatically. Also try reloading analog lab. sometimes that refreshes...
