small thing: it is great that you can see now, while hovering over a knob, the value of that knob. it is implemented in every arturia synth, it seems.

but the cutoff readout is different that, for example, cubase get. i use a lot of controllers, automap (2x novation, zero sl mkii, sl 49 mkii), panorama p1, and the MCU. they al get the "wrong" value, i.e. the value of the cutoff, difference from the readout in novation and the mcy, the panorama p1 gives a slight different result as the novations and MCU screens...

the resonant knob is accurate.

i did not test other synths. because i was playing, i.e. programming arturia synths, and not always i want to beta test (i do it enough, bug reporting...).

so the cutoff value on screen, with the mouse over cutoff, is different then what the host receives.

didn't try NKS yet, i have maschine mk3+jam. most of the times that is more accurate, but not always...

perhaps this difference was always there, and it isn't a very big deal, but it is nice that the read-out on my lcd-screens of my controllers reflect the true value...

there is a SEM V2, but arturia calls them on there site, al SEM V, or MINI V (although it is MINI V3)...

also on the dowload page, an the product page it says SEM V.
but in the ASC, it is called SEM V2, and when installed...

Wasteland,
Thank you for replying! I own V-collection 6. When did SEM-V2 and Mini-V3 start? Or is it just a gui update?

ay! in collection 6 there they where, i think also in collection 5, but i am not sure.

mini-v3 is more than a gui update... the filter has been redesigned.

also the sem-v2, has many new features. not all specifically related to the SEM itself, but beter workflow. and bugfix updates, and NKS, etc.

so fire up your ASC! then you see, what the differences are.

Wasteland,
OK, thank you for replying! OK, my ASC showed V3 for Mini, ARP2600, CS80, Jup8, Modular, Prophet. And V2 for SEM. But I thought it was more a gui thing. I remember Arturia seemingly half-heartedly saying they improved the sound with all of those, but they sounded the same to me. I did notice Piano-V2 sounding better than the first.
