FR: add split clips at mark-in AND mark-out points

I often need to split out the middle section of clips, audio and/or MIDI. Right now I select the clips, press A to set the mark-in and mark-out points to the full clips, the adjust the points to where I want them.
Then I use the actions panel to split clips at mark-in and then again at mark-out.
If I had the option of split at mark-in and mark-out at the same time that would be nice. I know I can use the "/" and left mouse button drag but I'd like the extra split action better.

If I'm missing something and there's a faster way please clue me in. Thanks.

The following macro will work with shift + alt drag selection in Waveform 10:

Tracktion.cutSelected();
Tracktion.paste();

You can also drag the middle section out using the clip bar after you selected an area.
