Feature Request - Midi Triggering of Keyboard Shortcuts

Years ago I used a host that allowed all the menu commands to be triggered via MIDI. It was a nice feature. It would be even nicer with Waveform's scripting features.

You can actually create a custom control surface and map many commands to MIDI events coming from the keyboard. Select the command you want, and hit the key on the keyboard.
Settings - control surfaces - create a control surface (if one of the defaults isn't what you have).
Select which function you want, and then press the corresponding key on the midi device. I had once taken a key-only keyboard, and mapped the bottom octave to be play/record/rewind, etc. Just remember that while it's enabled, you can't use those keys to play music any longer !
