Is it possible to extract the groove of a MIDI clip? I've searched the manual and the web but I couldn't find anything.
As a workaround I rendered the MIDI clip to audio and then used Groove Doctor on the audio clip to extract the groove. This works but there must be an easier way to do this.

Thank you very much. Sounds easy enough as the timing information is already there.
BTW: When you try to analyze a MIDI clip with Groove Doctor then it will happily start but it will stay at 0%. There is no error message shown.

Ok, thanks. I'll take a look at that. Sounds like the analyse process just never starts as there is no audio to analyse.

Groove extraction from MIDI would really be helpful. +1 for this feature request.
