Midi notes Record and playback is not correct in T7

Hello anyone,
I have spent two days straight trying to figure this one out -- When I record Midi notes using two different instruments Alesis DM6 Drums via USB* and also Ensoniq Mirage DSK via Midi in/Out **Cables, I experience the same problems: The midi Timing at first Drags then just gets worse and way off tempo -- And neither pre nor post Quantilizing corrects the notes -- I methodically tap notes with the Click track and same problem occurs (I'm a Drummer by profession) -- I do tap "Refresh Midi Device List"each time after any changes are made -- Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated -- Maybe a list of commands to be ticked or un-ticked or settings in the Timecode area in T7??

Gear: Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate 8GB Ram -- Behringer UMC204HD interface w/Direct in/out **Midi -- T7 32 Bit -- *USB to Midi in/out Cables interface -- T7 Crashing all the time, too so, researching Cakewalks FREE BandLab DAW just dreading all the song transfers unless someone has a brilliant idea or two
