Currently TX16Wx only has auto trim of samples when sampling (recording new material). This is a bit of an oversight and should probably be corrected.
But in general when using existing materials you probably just want to adjust the slice ranges and the overall start/end markers, otherwise you have destructive edits which might not be what you want.
