Mapping to a region without changing pitch?

Really basic question here. The pads on my midi keyboard are linked to the C0 octave. How can I map a sample to those keys in TX16Wx without drastically lowing the pitch of the sample? In other words, how do you just map the "normal" pitch of the sample to any key on the keyboard?

Sorry for the beginner question, but I couldn't figure it out in the manual.

Either move the root key in the region (root key in region list, or the reddish rectangle in the keyboard under the mappings in the region editor.
Or, if you simply want the samples always playing at unity pitch, just set the groups keycents to zero - i.e. not pitching at all.

Thanks so much!

Btw, you can also set your root key override to "no root" by editing the root key field in the region list and clearing it.
