Can't load Garageband files using older versions of Tx16wx

I first downloaded and used tx16wx in garageband on Sept 27 this year and have since downloaded v3.0.14b and every time I tried loading a .band file I used tx16wx on before it crashes. This happens even with the AU legacy v2.4.2h. Both these versions work when I open a new garageband file but crash the program when I try to save a current program or performance and also crash the program when I try loading an older program or performance.
