A friend of mine told me that NOVA actually is an RMS compressor and pointed me here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CHFv4mWQYM&t=4m40s

In the video Dan says that the detection is RMS, does this mean that NOVA really is an RMS compressor? Or it some sort of weird frequency dependent detector for a peak compressor?
