It's my understanding that, regardless of the settings of the output limiter, each module acts upon the true-peak level of the signal. Is there a way to get the modules to react to PCM level while using only the output limiter to control for true-peak spikes?

The closest you can get to this: use one instance in Low Latency mode with the final limiter disabled, then use a second instance in a normal mode with just the final true peak limiter enabled.

I'm not sure if the modules react to PCM but the clipper aliases a lot in Low Latency if that's anything to go by.

Interesting request. Some sort of lofi mode, per module?

I wonder what the use case is.

Is Low Latency mode not already approaching Lofi for a limiter?
