Collecting my latest MXXX video experiments in this thread, collecting patches for the sequel of Transformed Reality.

----

An MXXXCore preset combining spectral gating/compression/saturation/convolution reverb in lane 1, pitch modulation (vibrato module) in lane 2 and pitch-shifted spectral freezing/delay/reverb/chorus (with LFO-controlled feedback modulation) in lane 3 - tweaking the installed Macros on the fly, first processing a guitar/cembalo like synth sound and then proceeding with overtone singing/viola arpeggios.

----

Industrial sounds from my Groove Agent library Colliding Worlds processed with an MXXXCore setup where the convolution impulse response (a percussive sample of an art object with giant springs) can be tuned -/+ 1 octave via a harmonizer (scaled in semitones for pitch and formants), further processed with a BComb filter/convolution reverb/delay and MTransform frequency/pitch shifter. It's really good how accurately an IR can be tweaked in the Advanced Settings-section in the convolution module!

Processing one of my Tremor beats using spectral gating/compression/delay/pitch modulation/scratching/volume gating/distortion/saturation/more delay - tweaking the installed Macros on the fly. Video starts dry...

Spectral smearing/freezing inside MXXXCore, also combing MTransform with rotary FX, tweaking things on the fly, video starts dry.

Volume gating (and other things) in 5/8 (step sequences in odd time signatures are possible in Melda plugins since version 10.0.2):

Applying four different step sequences in 5/8 time signature to volume gating/filter modulation/panning and harmonization processing a mix of pad/bass and percussion.

Of course now that we have this I am missing it in individual plugins like wobbler/panner and all the other things which have inbuilt modulators, it would be fantastic to also have this available in the individual plugins/MXXX modules where we can also apply things like phase difference/panorama (wobbler) etc.

Here is a first tutorial for MXXX, creating a patch from scratch, explaining modulation and Macro assignments as well as some other things. It's 30+ minutes long.

Processing a sustained synth note (Diversion) with a custom MXXXCore preset, using a ring modulator and a harmonizer with a step-sequenced pitch melody (in 7/8 time-signature), the harmonizer signal is also used as the side-chain input for the ring modulator, bot signals are using tempo-synced gate sequences. Video starts dry, later some electronic drums come in as a reference (Tremor). Video starts dry.

Processing a guitar pad from my Falcon library Ambient Strings with a custom preset in MXXXCore which uses MTurboReverb and other things, playing live on video. Video starts dry.

It is great to hear that Transformed Reality 2 is in the pipeline. I look forward to it!

I've been collecting patches since upgrading to the Creative Bundle, then I added TurboReverb which opens another can of worms...no ETA yet, but it's definitely going to happen. :phones:

What are the chances that Transformed Reality 2 will appear on the horizon in 2019?

It's already on the horizon but far from being released, I've been so busy with other stuff, life is much too short...

Processing two of my Falcon patches (Celtic harp/Lithophone) with a custom MXXX preset which combines dual delay/phaser/unison detune/a feedback module in a band with moving crossover frequency, tweaking the installed controls on the easy page on the fly.
