Here comes the release info for subscription set 37 which I just deployed:

Kaleidoscope Subscription Set 37 uploaded on October 2nd - 2019 containing:
  • 80 Presets
    29 images
    5 tuning files
    4 waveforms
Release notes:
It’s been a while since the last release, not because I’ve lost interest in Kaleidoscope but because there are so many things on my plate right now. So with each set I’m trying to further explore and rediscover Kaleidoscope - set 37 spans a bridge between straight rhythms and stochastics, between consonance and dissonance, between diatonic scales/harmonic textures and microtonal bizarreness.
The subscription library currently contains: 2767 presets, 1239 images - 211 tuning files - 217 waveforms - 29 input samples. Library size: 6.6 GB uncompressed, 4 GB download (RAR-archive in 6 parts).

Here comes the release info for set 38:
Digging deeper into the creation of fractal images, experimenting with methods to create tuning files, exploring tonal, atonal and noise textures, I hope set 38 pushes the boarders somewhat of what’s possible with Kaleidoscope.
Kaleidoscope subscription set 38 uploaded on December 6th - 2019 containing:
  • *75 Presets
    *26 images
    *5 tuning files
    *6 waveforms
The subscription library currently contains: 2840 presets, 1265 images - 216 tuning files - 223 waveforms - 29 input samples.
Library size: 6.78 GB uncompressed - 4.2 GB download (RAR-archive in 6 parts).

Release notes for set no. 39:

Set 39 uploaded on February 7th - 2020 containing:
  • 81 Presets
    30 images
    4 tuning files
    11 waveforms
Experimenting with new software (OmniGeometry) to create musically useful geometric shapes, spending many hours with fractal image experiments, extracting waveforms from micro electronic sounds recorded with a coil microphone, flying away with ambient musical beds, creating minimal sequences and even drum-loops with Kaleidoscope and bending my ears with microtonal experiments - set 39 is quite ambiguous.
The subscription library currently contains: 2941 presets - 1295 images - 220 tuning files - 234 waveforms - 29 input samples. Library size: 7.07 GB uncompressed, 4.48 GB download (RAR-archive in 6 parts).

Here comes the release info for subscription set 40:
It’s been a while since the last subscription set, in these strange and disconcerting times I had to re-focus on certain aspects of my artistic life and Kaleidoscope wasn’t on the priority list, but now it’s back again and I’m glad I haven’t given up on it.
So with set 40 I explored new ways to create fractal and geometric images, extracted waveforms from piano harmonics and harp sounds, wrote some new tuning files and used many existing tunings files from the subscription library. I do hope that 2CAudio will release a version 2 of Kaleidoscope one day but even if we’re stuck with version 1 forever, in my book KS will remain to be an exceptional, inspiring instrument.
Set 40 contains:
  • 91 Presets
    37 Images
    4 Tuning Files
    6 Waveforms
The entire subscription library now contains 3032 Presets, 1332 Images, 224 Tuning Files, 240 Waveforms. Library size in total 7.34 GB.
