What's up with the "deals" page? It was for a long time general and useful for that. Now it is a Marketplace-extension page, with minimal and often no gestures toward the general market.

Why, when this page was actually a useful feature? Less reason to use the site rarely moves people to make more use of it.

But then the world makes less and less sense in recent years. Maybe this kind of thing is the new, self-destructive normal.

If this is a temporary issue, please say so. Otherwise, in the current environment, no pressing need for reasoning seems to suggest itself.
