i always get this nagging feeling that i have to come to a store i no longer go to, and tell them that i'm no longer their customer.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

It^s more like wanting one^s client debit card canceled, which makes sense.

Not really. The bank will keep your details and transaction records for several years at the very least.

Which is no problem. Posts can stay as well.
But canceling one's supermarket debit card ends the non-anonymous relationship, no more transactions etc.

ras.s wants his posts deleted as part of the deal. Apparently. Or at least at the moment. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

Oh, now that makes no sense indeed. I don't even know whether it is possible, or a lot of effort.

Yes, it's not as amusing as the 'tell us how you use warez while posting a donkey pornz vid' option :)

Unless things have changed with forum software like phpBB, you pretty much have to write a SQL or PHP script to kill the content in every post for a single user in the database. It's not something you want to have to do everyday. And you really, really want to doublecheck that code.

Oh my, that is way too much effort. Forget it :P

Just closing an account is simple though, basically the same as permanently banning someone, just put a different label under the name, like Former Member.

Rules are for squares man....

:hihi:

KVR Rules can be altered or changed or amended, depending on user wants/needs.

For example, in the market place, the 48 hours no-bump rule, wasn't in place from the beginning.

The sticky thread in HPC about HPC moderation wasn't there last year.

Well, I guess that should cover everything :scared:

I dunno, up here most people I've met look at my long hair, T-shirts, room full of guitars/amps and label me a hippie. 8)

a funny place. I supposed when I got so upset about the most obtuse person imaginable turned out to be a mod I did state I wish I could delete the account. I supposed that 1) it isn't as easy as all that, and 2) we don't want people taking advantage of that and starting a new account as a troublemaker.

YET somehow hibidy did that (or supposedly his account was so damaged it was irretrievable) and was welcomed back all the same. :scared:
