In my signature, I have a statistic derived from the number of KVR members.

Today I responded to a post by someone who joined near the end of January, 2011, and his member number was around 249,000. When I click on "KVR Member List" and look at the member numbers of people who joined today (Feb 19, 2011), their member numbers are around 217,000. Has Meffy permanently banned 32,000 members over the years? :hihi:

I'm sorry if this has been addressed here before, but 1) Why the discrepancy? And 2) What's the actual number?

I'll use the more conservative figure for the statistic in my sig. It's still an impressive number.
If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!

I've always heard 'lots' or 6000. According to dictionary.com, a legion is 'any great number' - Roman legions were 3000-6000 solders.

Hover above a name to see the number. It's currently 251.010, and the same number shows up in their bottom line. For example:

We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. :borg:
