there's probably been a thread on it in the past.. just felt inspired to post appreciation for this feature.
it can surprise you, brighten your day, and provides equal representation for all developers and development aesthetics and rationales.. eg. those who are good at plugins but not so good at advertising or product awareness.
a truly egalitarian forum feature.

I am constantly amazed at the 'new' discoveries there, and re-finding things that I had meant to, but neglected to checkout, as well as being reminded of things I already have but haven't installed or used for a long time (if installed), and/or forgotten about completely...
