---The New Users Survival Guide to KVR---
4 simple steps to staying un-banned and in good standing.

1. Be polite. Everyone hates a jerk, and it's too easy to destroy your reputation.

2. Keep it civil. No personal threats, or threats in general. remember, we are all musicians and producers here, and for the most part, people just want to help you.

3. Don't take everything as a personal insult. You have no idea how annoying that is, and the only result is people laughing at how flustered you are getting over the smallest things. (Special mention to you Deadmaus5 fans out there :D ) Sorry, just had to do that

4. Never-ever-ever-ever mention, refer to, ask for, joke about, or imply any use of warez (illegal copies of commercial software)

IDK if theres something like this elsewhere, just had the idea while browsing some threads.

if you bothered to browse a bit harder (in the same forum!)you would have found the KvR rules...

There's some overlap, yes. The parts about civility and software piracy are rules. The rest is good advice for getting along -- anywhere, not just in a forum.

Problem is getting the people to read it who most need to. No solution to that.
