"It's all TRUE

It's all a big conspiracy, K-v-R is secretly owned by a multinational conglomerate incorporating Image Line and Computer Music/Future Publishing, none of you are safe here, it's true we are at their mercy, quick, go save yourselves before my slave masters realise what I've posted and banish me back to my dank cell in the depths of the ILFM castle

More worryingly Donkey Tugger is actually a secret agent, sent here to promote the goodness of Fruityloops with his easy to listen to vocal delights, but beware, there are subliminal messages hidden in a sub bass frequency that changes your thought patterns.. it's true I tell you!! Shit, I’ve said too much……"

That wasn't big, clever or remotely funny.

Now stop your idiotic whinging and stop insulting me with your cynical outlook on life.

Arrogant, jumped up liitle twat . You had a very obvious idea at the same time as a lot of other people and either had the money or the programming wherewithal to do it better than anyone else. Now the Vst instrument community is stuck with a distinctly slimy focus run by a little tinpot dicktator.

P.S.

You can ban me if you like, but do not, under any circumstances use my email address to respond privately.

Ben,

Thanks for running such a useful, informative and enjoyable website. I've found it to be an invaluable resource, and endlessly entertaining.

I just hope you'll ignore the few paranoid lunatics that plague your otherwise-excellent forum, and keep up the good work.

Cheers,

You can use your imaginations to make up all sort of silly over the top accusations of paranoia or whatever. What I said was actually very focussed here and in the offending thread. I distinctly said that I didn't believe that Ben was pandering directly to advertisers for financial gain.

Ben has joined the big boys and believes that a positive, "can do" attitude is a sign of maturity, but it is exactly the same attitude you would have found at Enron and Worldcom. I suppose I will have to spell it out, but no I don't think Ben is Kenneth Lay or such like bad person, it's only an analogy.

What annoys me is that he makes childish offensive remarks (like some gross bodily function noises) and shuts down the thread so that no one can reply. The only people that can get away with this are his big pals like the dyslexic journalist from Computer Music.

WhyteRabbit

I seem to remember use as a psycho who makes nasty offensive remarks to everyone. I am unemployed because of the fact that college I worked in for thirteen years (including teaching a large number of music students) was taken over by a corporate culture. I took voluntary redundancy at a time when literally everyone else would have done the same could they have afforded it including the principal who had a complete nervous breakdown six months later and was removed for his trouble. There is a chronic shortage of lecturers in the UK because staff are leaving in droves for the same reasons as me.

I relate the story because you mentioned students in one of your messages, also because it explains my genuine gut wrenching reaction to psycophantic corporate attitudes which I detect here.

I genuinely couldn't care less what anyone here thinks. You can continue with any amount of inappropriate conspiracy theory jibes you like.

If you look back at the archives Ben, you will see that I posted two or three messages complimenting you on the professional layout of the material. That still stands, but so does my original message in this thread.

P.S. if anyone thinks I am simply a middle class snob, as a former member of the local dance music/drugs scene, I know lots of people with baseball hats, baseball bats and even guns too.

Well if not "a job" then maybe a life and some friends?

Unless I've missed something, we are simply hanging out here and chatting about music programs for computers.

You bandy the word "dyslexic" around as if it were some sort of fault or failing. What a nasty, spiteful misappropriation.

Incidentally, the correct spelling of "psycophantic" is "sycophantic"....

When closing threads I could come up with a stuffy reply, or I could just close the thread without comment, but I choose not to, I don’t think it’s offensive and I’m sorry if you feel that way.
