So you could check if there's a more recent version than the one you have?eduardo_b wrote:Because...?Kriminal wrote:it would be useful to have the release date, or date plugin was put in the database (whichever is available) put on each plugins page...

Doesn't help you when you're not in front of your DAW and can't check version numbers. It's a lot easier to remember when you bought something.eduardo_b wrote:But the version numbers are listed in the database under download.thecontrolcentre wrote:So you could check if there's a more recent version than the one you have?eduardo_b wrote:Because...?Kriminal wrote:it would be useful to have the release date, or date plugin was put in the database (whichever is available) put on each plugins page...

Not for me. I remember version numbers way better than dates. But when I don't remember even the version, I do have to load the plug to see what it is. The file properties dialogue rarely seems to have this information even though there's a place for it.robojam wrote:Doesn't help you when you're not in front of your DAW and can't check version numbers. Wasn't there a timeline under the info box in plugin database section? Why would somebody remove it? That was the most usefull thing on this site!
