Suppose you're an office worker, and suppose in your spare time you like to check the forums at KVR. Now suppose your employer uses a content filtering system to keep you from visiting Websites the management considers "objectionable." No problem, right?

Unless the content filtering system decides, based on those nasty ol' "cuss words," that KVR is objectionable. If that happens, your supply of music- and computer-related thrills will evaporate, even like unto the dew in the morn.

The moral of the story: When posting a new topic, be kind to the wage slaves who crave a quick KVR fix during lunch or break time -- keep your subject line free of any words that Net Nanny-style content filters might wrinkle their prudish virtual noses at (and flag as not suitable).

Already made a thread with a subject line that might catch the censors' beady little eyes? Be a champ. Edit it to something tamer. Do it for The Little Guy.

The cubicle dwellers of the world, who labor with but little in the way of brain refreshment, will thank you. And I will thank you.
