User Ratings system overhaul?

I would be happy with 1-10 stars with a comments section. The Bigger ratings(old system) could have more weight on the overall rating of the synth or effect or host. I would easily do a quick rating on all of the synths I use.

I've often thought it would be cool to be able to just 'vote' for a plug on its KVR page, rather than having to write a lengthy review. Each member could vote for as many of their favorites as they wish (only once of course). Then plugs could simply be ranked by # of votes.

Yeah, I think a lot of people are put off by having to be identified with a written review. If you could just do the ratings part, enter your user name so that the system won't let you rate anything more than once and add it to the overall score, I think a lot more people would get involved.

Oh, without a doubt.
I don't know what kind of logistics would be involved as far a designing it for the site or how difficult it would be, but I think the value of it is well worth it...
